Actions : Anti-bacterial, reduces blood pressure, anti-inflammatory, mild diuretic, antispasmodic

Constituents : Tannin, flavonoids, mucilage, sugars, salicylic acid in European species

Indications : Use the decoction(10-15g herb to 600ml water) in the early stages of a feverish cold with headache, thirst and sore throat. Use the tincture for diarrhea or gastroenteritis related to food poisoning.

Folk Names : Goat’s Leaf, Woodbine

Uses : Used in sachets or incenses to attract money, increase psychic powers and protection.
